Can´t load GPS file
I can´t load a GPS file.
I get alwasy the Message: Unable to read GPS information from the Gps data file.
I´ve got the Lat and Lon GPS data in a .cvs Excel file. The Decimal symbol is set on Period (.)
Could you help me with this issue?
I have the same problem as maxi12. Can anyone give me an example of a csv-file that works with Video Geotagger, please.
I tried this one in many variations, but it was always rejected.
Attached here is a simple CSV format that will work with Video GeoTagger and any of the Remote GeoSystems software products. Thanks!

Any updates to this issue? I also cannot upload any GPS files. I've downloaded the simple csv noted, but that doesn't work either. Please see attached picture. Thanks!
Apologies for the issue. It looks like you experienced a bug we have since fixed in a recent version. Please email us at email@example.com and we will get you the latest version with this fix.
5 months and still cant load a log in the simplest format example you shared here.
Your example file won´t load... that´s what I need the software for.
It's 2021 now...
As mentioned in the thread above this issue was fixed at least 8 months ago. The the example file loads just fine in Video GeoTagger FREE here for us. We just tried it again just now to be sure. What kind of error messages are you getting? What steps did you perform when you got his message? Did you just download an install the latest build? Also have you emailed us the Program Logs via the Help menu? Thanks!
Good morning. This problem could be related to your system's decimal symbol settings.
You can fix the issue by navigating to System Settings > Time & Language > Region.
Scroll down to Related Settings, and click Additional date, time & regional settings.
Once again select Change date, time, or number formats under the Region section. Click Additional Settings, then under Decimal Symbol, change the symbol from a comma to a period.
Once you have changed your decimal symbol, you will need to restart Video GeoTagger Free/Pro for it to take effect. The files should now upload with no errors.
If you have changed your decimal symbol settings and are still getting the message, try changing your Regional Format to English.
