FLIR handheld camera
I have an old FLIR camera I use for building inspections is there any way for me to geotag and use that in your mapping software?
Yes - as long as the FLIR video is in a digital format you should be able to match it up with a GPS log using the Video GeoTagger.
So basically when doing your handheld inspections, also keep a GPS track log using a smartphone, traditional GPS logger or other device. Then once back at your computer you can load the video file and GPS track log file to Video GeoTagger or LineVision and right-click on the GPS point location that corresponds to your first frame of video to automatically geotag the video clip with continuous GPS points.
