I'm attempting to bring in a DJI SRT file for geotagging, but the coordinates are coming into the software reversed, with Latitude showing up as Longitude. So, instead of me being somewhere in southern Wisconsin, I'm getting placed outside the map. Has anyone encountered this? I looked at the SRT file in notebook, and in a CSV and they are properly labeled in there.
Hello,
Thanks for reporting the issue.
We have a workaround in a coming build - the LAT/LONG is swapped with certain DJI models and firmware revisions and it is difficult to detect if those coordinates are swapped since often they are still technically valid. In a future release, you will be able to swap LAT/LONG cords manually as a menu option for when you encounter the problem.
Regards,
Remote Geo
I am experiencing the same issue. I have a Mavic pro.
Thanks
We have released a new build today that updates the DJI SRT file parser to accommodate a greater variety of formats, so hopefully now your video shows up in the right location.
The new build can be downloaded here:
http://store.remotegeo.com/Files/VideoGeoTaggerFree-RemoteGeo.zip
In the event it appears the coordinates are still getting reversed, then there is now an option to manually reverse the LAT/LONG should they be inverted within the SRT.
To reverse the LAT/LONG, right click on the video in the Media Browser and select "Reverse Latitude/Longitude"
This build also has other new features, including the introduction of YouTube "Cloud Hosting" capabilities and the ability to parse MISB data (however FREE edition does not include the "4-corner overlay" on the map that is found in PRO edition the new LineVision Desktop suite.)
