Old GoPro, no GPS
I have and older GoPro that does not log GPS. Is there still a way I can geotag my videos with all the points on the map like you see on your website?
Definitely! All you need to do is create a GPS log and then reference that in our Video GeoTagger software and with one click geotagging is complete. The GPS log could come from a smartphone, tablet or traditional GPS device. There are a number of free GPS logging apps for smart phones. One we like is called Easy GPS Logger, but really any that create a .GPX file should work. Here is a YouTube video showing how to "automatically" geotag video from an action camera with continuous GPS points: https://youtu.be/voFiTUfMCsQ
