LineVision Online offers powerful and secure sharing capabilities where users with appropriate permissions can share the media items and geoProjects with individual users or a group of users on your LineVision Online Team.
Share a Media Item #
To share a single media item, right-click on the media item and select Share Media.
Share a geoProject #
To share a geoProject, select the geoProject from the dropdown menu in the geoProject Browser. Then, referencing the image below, right-click on the geoProject name and select Share geoProject.
Share Window #
Referencing the images below, slightly different windows will appear depending on whether sharing with an individual or a group of users.

Share Window Components #
The share windows include the following components.
Media Item or geoProject Name
The Media Item or geoProject name is displayed at the top of the share window.
Media Item or geoProject Date
The date the media item was collected or the date the geoProject was created will be displayed under the Media Item or geoProject Name.
User Sharing / Group Sharing Tab
The User Sharing or Group Sharing tab will appear a very light green color when active.
Search Shares
There is a Search Shares box in case there are a lot of shares and you would like to narrow down the results.
Share List
A list of users or groups that the media item or geoProject has been shared with will be displayed.
Sharing with an Individual User #
Referencing the image below, to share with an individual user, enter their email address, team name (if applicable), and the permissions you want them to have for the share. Then click the Share button.
IMPORTANT: If the user is not a member of a LineVision Online Team, you must delete the Team Name field and leave this field empty.
Sharing with a Group(s) of Users #
Referencing the image below, select the Group(s) you would like to share with and the permissions you want the Group to have for the share. Then click the Share button.
