Right-clicking on an item in the Media Browser will open one of several different menus depending on the media type.
Media Item Menus #
Below are the menus that are presented when right-clicking a video, a photo, and an annotation, respectively.

Open #
Selecting this item will open the media item in the Video Viewer or the Photo Viewer.
View Details #
Referencing the images below, selecting this item will open a window with additional details featuring an Info tab and an Items tab.
View Details Info Tab
The following fields on the Info tab can be edited and saved by users with the appropriate permissions: Name, Description, Latitude, Longitude, Altitude, Altitude Mode.
View Details Items Tab
In the Items tab, users with appropriate permissions can upload new items to associate with the media item. Users may also sort the items by name and type and adjust the size of the icons/thumbnails.
View Notes #
Referencing the image below, selecting this item will open a window where users with appropriate permissions can add or delete notes about the media item. Click the + button to add notes and click the – button to delete a note. Click the Save button to save changes in the Notes window.
Set Location #
Referencing the image below, selecting this item will open a window along with a “target icon” tied to the computer’s mouse movements to geotag the item to a specific point point on the map. Once the target icon is over the desired location left-click the mouse and then click the Save button.
Keywords #
Referencing the image below, selecting this item will open a window where users with appropriate permissions can add or delete searchable keywords to associate with the media item.
Existing Keywords #
If the item already has associated keywords, they will appear above the Search and Add Keyword(s) buttons. To search existing keywords already associated with the media item click the Search button.
Add Keywords #
To associate keywords to the media item, click the Add Keyword(s) button. Referencing the image below, a field will appear with a dropdown arrow. Click the dropdown arrow to search existing keywords in your LineVision Online instance to associate with the media item. To add a new keyword, type it in the field and click the Add Keyword(s) button.
geoProjects #
Selecting this item will open a window where users with appropriate permissions can associate the media item with a geoProject.
Existing geoProjects #
To add the media item to an existing geoProject, click the check box by the geoProject name and then click the Add button.
New geoProjects #
To add the media item to an new geoProject, do not select an existing geoProject and instead click the Add to New geoProject button. A field will appear. Enter the new geoProject name in this field and click the Confirm button.
Associate Companion File (Geotag) #
Selecting this item will open Windows Explorer so users can associate a GPS companion file with a video for interactive click-on-track playback. NOTE: This option only applies to videos and is usually used if the GPS companion file was not uploaded along with the video or the companion file does not have the same name as the video file.
Share Media #
Selecting this item will open a window where users with appropriate permissions can share the media item with individual users or a group of users on your LineVision Online Team. For more detailed information on using this feature please see the Sharing Media & geoProjects article.
Delete Media #
Referencing the image below, selecting this item will open a window where users can delete selected media items.
Altitude Options #
Referencing the image below, selecting this item will allow users to adjust attitude options for more accurate three dimensional spatial representation of the media items when the Map Viewer is in 3D mode.
Zoom to #
Selecting this item will pan and zoom the map to the media item’s geographic location.
View Fullsize #
Selecting this item on a photo will bring up a new window where you can zoom in closer on the photo and make it full screen.
