After logging in, most users will see an interface similar to the screenshot below.
NOTE: The Picture Viewer and Video Viewer panels are collapsed until you select a media item in the Media Browser and/or select a video track or photo point on the map. Also, in most cases the Map Viewer is defaulted to zoom into the map extent for the geographic region in which your LineVision Online account has data located.
Below is a quick overview of the main components of the main application interface. These components will be covered in more detail in later sections.
Main Components #
Top Menu Bar #
For most users, the blue menu bar at the top of the page will show three menu links: Message Box, Register, and My Account Icon to the far right. These are described in more detail in later sections.
Search Functions #
Below the blue menu bar, in the upper right corner are some search functions.
Photo Viewer #
This panel will display a geotagged or non-geotagged still image photo when selected in the Media Browser.
Video Viewer #
This panel will play geotagged videos when selected in the Media Browser.
geoProject Browser #
This panel will let you search for media organized by a specific project.
Media Browser #
This panel will show a thumbnail image representing videos and photos.
Map Viewer #
This panel displays the interactive video GPS track and photo locations on the map.
Reporting Module #
In the top left, some people may have a Reporting page that is covered more in the Analysis and Reporting Module of the documentation.
Admin Module (only for admin) #
In the top left, users who are administrators will have an additional Admin page. This is covered more on the Admin Interface page.
