This easy-to-use desktop software is one of the most “open” and versatile geospatial video analysis tools available.
You can load properly formatted video from a variety of COTS cameras, specialized geospatial DVRs, and gyro-stabilized systems, including our own Remote GeoSystems geoDVR™.
Simply click any point along the path to geographically “navigate the video” to that exact location. As the video plays, a cursor moves along the GPS track, continually indicating the location where you captured the video. If you see something of interest in the video, you may pause and “snap” a still image from the video. This snapshot is geotagged and saved as part of a .geoProject™ file for data portability and future analysis.
LineVision Google Earth can play up to 4 simultaneously collected geospatial video files, enhancing the capabilities and value of modern multi-sensor gimbal cameras and mobile mapping systems.
