About LineVision Desktop #
LineVision Desktop is a stand-alone desktop software that leverages Esri GIS technology to map, analyze and package geospatial full motion video (FMV), photos, annotations, documents, local SHP files and raster imagery as well as ArcGIS Enterprise Server & ArcGIS Online streaming data.
Now anyone can easily view this valuable asset location-based multimedia using enterprise maps and imagery.
Finally, there is an easy and affordable way to create and distribute multi-source data analysis work products and reports without having to learn the details and workflows of traditional GIS software, but still using those valuable geospatial data resources.
This easy-to-use desktop software is one of the most “open” and versatile geospatial video analysis tools available.
The software accepts properly formatted video from a variety of consumer GPS-enabled video cameras, drones, gyro-stabilized airborne cameras and specialized geospatial DVRs, including our own geoDVR™ line of recorders.
Just click any point along the GPS track to geographically “navigate the video” to that exact location.
As the video plays, a cursor moves along the GPS track, and continually indicates the location the video was captured. If you see something of interest in the video, you may pause and “snap” a still image from the video. This snapshot is geotagged and saved as part of a .geoProject™ file for data portability and future analysis.
LineVision Desktop can play up to 4 simultaneously-collected geospatial video files, enhancing the capabilities and value of modern multi-sensor gimbal cameras and mobile mapping systems.
