Generate Report #

Select this menu item to automatically generate a report using the data currently in the Media Browser.

Standard Report #

Use this report generation option for most georeferenced videos that were NOT recorded with a Remote GeoSystems geoDVR recorder.

geoDVR Data Report #

Use this report generation option for most georeferenced videos that were NOT recorded with a Remote GeoSystems geoDVR recorder.

Launch Remote KMZ to KML Converter #

This utility converts a Google Earth KMZ (zipped) file to a Google Earth KML (unzipped) file.

Combine Video GPS Companion Files #

Select this menu item to combine one or more GPS companion files that were collected in chronological order

Load GPS Track/Waypoint without Video #

Select this menu item if would like to load a GPS track or waypoint file without video such as a track log from a handheld GPS unit

Start Audio Start Offset #

This lets you define when to start playing an audio track relative to the GPS point that is clicked. This way you can specify how soon before a GPS click point the associated audio begins playing.  NOTE: This feature is only available for geoDVRs that have been configured to record individual audio tracks – most units are NOT configured this way. 

Launch Waypoint Description Drill Down Menu Builder #

Select this menu item to launch the Waypoint Descriptions Menu Builder window.  For more information on using this feature please see the Drill Down Waypoint Description Menu Builder article.

geoDVR Video Tools #

Extract GPS Data from geoDVR Video #

Select this menu item to create a new GPS companion file from a geoDVR video file.  NOTE:  This is typically only used with older geoDVR systems recording the videos as .AVI files.  This feature will NOT recover any waypoints taken, as those are stored in the original .GPX file and not the geoDVR Whisper embedded video.

Repair geoDVR Video File #

The menu  item is used to fix video files that have become corrupt.  This typically happens when the geoDVR is shut down without stopping the recording first.  NOTE:  This functionality may or may not work depending on your unique situation.

Search Settings #

Set Search Locations #

This menu item will allow you to set your search directories so media can be searched for from within LineVision Desktop.

Set Search Radius #

This menu item will allow you to set the search radius for items on the map.
